MEMBERSHIP FEES

The scout unit relies on the payment of a membership fee by each scout as the primary
source of income to fund the cost of maintaining the scout den, training of leaders,
equipment and all group activities. Due to a further increase from Scouting Ireland please see information below regarding membership fees.

As of September 1st, 2026

  • 1 Child Membership - TBC

  • Sibling discount - TBC

The registration fee to Scouting Ireland for each child is 100 euro per year which comes out of this payment, an increase from 65 euro in last membership fee review.

  2. Annually - Please arrange payment by the end of October either by bank transfer or through this site, for all new members starting after group camp in September, fees are not due until November 30th

Accounts are prepared each year at the end of August and distributed at the AGM. At this meeting parents also hear about the activities of our scouts and get the full picture of how all our day and overnight activities are subsidised by the group.

Please note that any payments not received by November 30th may result in your child losing their place to the next person on waitling list.
